Terms of Service
These Terms of Service outline the general terms for using the SilverPoint Communication website and engaging with our software engineering services. By accessing our website or working with SilverPoint, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Intellectual Property & Project Ownership
Once the project has been completed and all agreed fees have been paid, ownership of custom work created specifically for the client will transfer to the client, as outlined in the applicable project agreement. This may include source code, website configurations, databases, designs, and other project-specific digital assets. SilverPoint retains ownership of its existing tools, reusable components, and internal resources unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Confidentiality & Client Information
SilverPoint respects the confidentiality of client information and project materials. Business information, technical details, credentials, source code, and other sensitive materials shared during an engagement will be handled responsibly and used only for the agreed project purposes. Where necessary, additional confidentiality terms or a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be established between SilverPoint and the client.
3. Project Scope & Engagement Terms
Each project is based on an agreed scope that defines the expected deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and payment terms. SilverPoint may work through fixed projects, milestones, or ongoing development arrangements depending on the engagement. Any significant changes to the agreed scope may require additional time, cost, or a written update to the project agreement.
4. Post-Launch Support & Warranty
Where included in the project agreement, SilverPoint provides a defined period of post-launch support for issues directly related to the delivered work. This support may include fixing functional bugs or implementation issues identified after launch. Issues caused by third-party services, client changes, hosting environments, or work outside the agreed scope may require separate support arrangements.
5. Service Reliability & Communication
SilverPoint aims to provide reliable solutions, clear communication, and predictable project delivery. For projects that include ongoing support, response times and support responsibilities will be defined in the applicable agreement. We work to address important technical issues promptly while keeping clients informed throughout the process.
6. Website Use
The SilverPoint website is provided for general informational purposes. Visitors agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, or use the website for unlawful activities. SilverPoint may update, change, or remove website content when necessary.
7. Third-Party Services
Some projects may use third-party platforms, hosting providers, APIs, software, or other external services. While SilverPoint works to integrate these services properly, their availability and performance may be outside our control. Any third-party services used in a project will be subject to their respective terms and policies.
